Google doubles the Workspace individual account storage from 15GB to 1TB.
It has become essential to have enough storage capacity in the era of information technology, whether it be physical or cloud-based. The volume of files, emails, images, and videos is constantly growing, therefore additional storage is undoubtedly needed.
Google, a global leader in technology, has just revealed that it has tripled the allotted storage for each individual user. The Google Workspace Individual account now has 1TB of storage available.
The IT company disclosed that upgrading one's account to 1TB of secure cloud storage is a fully automatic process in a blog post. Every Google user will immediately receive the increase from the current 15GB storage to 1TB when Google launches the new upgrade. Users will get access to up to 100 unique file formats on Google Drive, including CAD files, PDFs, and several image formats.
'Secure cloud storage worth 1 TB will soon be included with every Google Workspace Individual account. You won't need to do anything to acquire the expanded storage: ' stated a blog post on Google. Since users won't need to convert Microsoft Office files, Google has also made it simple for users to edit and collaborate on them.
Additionally, the tech behemoth improved its built-in defence against spam, malware, and ransomware. A feature allowing users to add mail merge tags to send several emails at once was also added by the tech giant to Google Workspace.
Additionally, this will enable senders to send recipients individually designed emails. An unsubscribe link is also included in the default multi-send email option so that recipients can choose not to receive further emails.
More nations are now included in the Google Workspace Individual account. Google has announced that Google Meet will soon be available across a variety of devices, including zoom. By entering a meeting code, users of Zoom Rooms and Google Meet devices will be able to join Google Meet meetings right from their calendars.
